Thomas C. Shroeder is a partner in the Tax-Exempt Organizations Practice Group at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP. Previousl, Mr. Schroeder served as Principal Counsel, Nonprofit Organizations & Charitable Giving, at the University of California, and as Associate General Counsel at The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. Mr. Schroeder advises on tax-exempt organizations and nonprofit corporate issues as well as on charitable giving and charitable trust matters.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Schroeder help positions at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle. He received his A.B., summa cum laude, from Bowdoin College; an M.A. from the Courtuald Institute of Art; and a J.D., with honors, form the University of Washington School of Law.
