Melissa Hicks is a Tax Director at Dean Dorton. She serves as the tax services practice leader in the Louisville market and leads Dean Dorton’s real estate industry team. She is also an executive member of Dean Dorton’s equine practice, which is nationally and internationally recognized as the leading provider for U.S. tax, accounting, and technology services in the equine industry.

With over 22 years in public accounting, Melissa has dedicated her career to providing tax planning, compliance, and accounting services to multi-generational, high-net-worth families - supporting their closely held businesses, trusts, and complex estate planning structures.
