Kerry R. Hawkins (Oklahoma City, OK) has been Territory Manager for the Central West Territory of the IRS Estate and Gift Territory since January 2023. His Territory is responsible for all estate and gifts examinations conducted by examiners located from the Mississippi River to Hawaii. except for those in Texas and Louisiana. Prior to that assignment he managed the Field and Speciality Workload Planning group. In that role, he led the team responsible for the creation and maintenance of the Field and Specialty workplans. He has 25 years of service as an estate tax attorney, group manager, Policy Advisor, analyst for Estate and Gift/Excise as well as Technical Advisor to the Director, Speciality Examination.
