Joe Bui is a Managing Director and Endowment and Foundation Specialist at Bank of America Private Bank. He leads a team of professionals to coordinate Bank of America’s outreach to its endowment and foundation clientele, helping advance their underlying missions through integrated investment policy, fiduciary services, administration, governance and leadership development. He aligns fiduciary investment offerings and philanthropic services with the unique needs of educational endowments, arts and cultural institutions, healthcare and faith-based organizations, and foundations, and donor-advised funds.
His 22 years of nonprofit experience began at The Boys & Girls Club in Orange County in education programming, after which he joined Merrill Lynch in 2001 with a focus on working with nonprofit organizations and private foundations. Joe has also been responsible for leading philanthropic efforts at J.P. Morgan and Fidelity Charitable. He joined Bank of America Prviate Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2018.
Joe currently serves on the boards of QueensCare and the McIntyre House. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts from The University of California, Irvine where he was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate. Joe holds the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) designation from The Irwin Graduate School of the American College.
