Evan Davis

Hochman Salkin Toscher Perez PC
Beverly Hills, CA

Evan Davis has been a principal at Hochman Salkin Toscher Perez P.C. since 2016. He spent 11 years as an AUSA in LA: three years handling civil and criminal cases in the Tax Division and eight years handling white-collar prosecutions in the Criminal Division. Before that, Mr. Davis was a civil trial attorney in DOJ's Tax Division for nearly 8 years.

Evan represents clients in federal and state criminal tax (including foreign-account and cryptocurrency) investigations and prosecutions, civil tax controversy and litigation, sensitive-issue civil tax examinations and administrative tax appeals, and white-collar criminal investigations including campaign finance, FARA, money laundering, and health care fraud. His recent appellate work includes representing a law firm in the In Re Grand Jury U.S. Supreme Court case, which involved dual-purpose privileged communications in a cryptocurrency-focused criminal investigation.
