Judge, United States Tax Court. Born in Albania. Received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Palm Beach Atlantic College, summa cum laude, and a Juris Doctor with highest honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law (Order of the Coif). Prior to appointment to the Court served as a Law Clerk to Judge Karen LeCraft Henderson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and as a Law Clerk to Associate Justice Clarence Thomas of the Supreme Court of the United States; was a Partner at Covington & Burling LLP. Appointed by President Trump and sworn in on October 18, 2019, for a term ending October 17, 2034.
