Carsten Hoffmann is head of the trust and estate group at Stout and runs the Irvine office.

Mr. Hoffmann is reluctant to admit that as of next year, he will have three decades of valuation expertise.

Carsten has testified in U.S. Tax Court as a valuation expert, has authored numerous articles on a wide range of valuation topics, and regularly presents on valuation issues nationally.

When not solving valuation issues, Carsten enjoys playing tennis with his three boys, himself having been ranked as high as #1 in the country in his age group and representing the US in Davis Cup play.
